About Miss Larson
My name is Morgan Larson and this will be my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten along with coaching JV volleyball and 5th/6th basketball. I spent my first year of teaching at Tri-Valley School District in 3rd grade.
I grew up near Canistota, South Dakota on Lake Vermillion (and I am thrilled to be back at my home school!). I live on a family farm with my parents and my older brother, where we raise cattle and produce both corn and soybeans. As a family, we love to be outdoors including razor riding and snowmobiling. In the summer, you can find us mudracing around the area. I also enjoy going to movies, working out, playing with my sweet mini goldendoodle, Lennon, shopping at Target, and watching reality tv shows.
I attended Canistota Public School for Kindergarten through 12th grade. Then, I went on to attend Dakota State University where I graduated with a double major in Elementary and Special Education. I have minors in Reading and Technology, and endorsements in Coaching, Kindergarten Education, and English as a New Language. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from South Dakota State University.
